About Us

Kim and Clarissa are Counsellors and qualified Primary School Teachers. Together, they hold full registration with the Queensland Education Department, and are both enrolled with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.

Kim is working towards her Bachelor of Psychology through Charles Darwin University which will be completed in 2026. She has spent the past 17 years working as a Classroom Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal at schools in the Northern Territory and Queensland.

Clarissa has worked as a Classroom Teacher for the past 27 years in both the Queensland and the Northern Territory. She is a published author of a children's growth mindset book, "Hello Brain", as well as co-authoring a growth mindset Teacher Resource called "Talk To Your Brain".

Kim and Clarissa are dedicated to empowering children with confidence by fostering connections and nurturing their creativity. As passionate educators, Kim and Clarissa have been dedicated to nurturing the individual qualities of every child, and providing support to assist them with building a strong sense of self-awareness, social awareness, self-worth and self-acceptance. Their approach prioritises these personal capabilities, ensuring that each child develops a strong sense of self and the ability to empathise with others. Through personalised care and evidence-based counselling practices, they light the path for young people as they grow into creative, capable, and confident individuals.
